Francisco fue invitado a Abu Dabi para participar en el encuentro de Fraternidad Humana, una conferencia a la que asisten representantes de todas las religiones, pero sobre todo cristianos y musulmanes, incluido el gran imán, quien es líder de la institución de referencia del islam suní, con sede en Egipto.
